Results
Mi Ciudad AC2 will present the following results:
- The preparation of urban planning criteria for climate change adaptation in 4 key areas: :
- Urban planning and mobility management
- Planning of green zones and natural spaces
- Energy saving and efficiency
- Public awareness and participation
The criteria will be designed in the light of the previous experience of the partner cities, as well as by selecting best practices for climate change adaptation at an international level. - Application of the urban planning criteria to pilot urban projects.
Each city will select an urban area in which to analyse the current situation and proposals will be prepared for modifications and improvements on the basis of climate change adaptation criteria designed in the project. - The diffusion and capitalisation of the results of Mi Ciudad AC2 and its effective application in the urban policies of the member cities.
A methodological guide will explain how to apply the criteria on urban planning for climate change adaptation in urban surroundings, beginning with best practice used for its preparation.
Project results will be communicated to other cities in the SUDOE area and in Europe through the organisation of 4 seminars and a final conference.
A commitment will be signed between political representatives of the partner cities to guarantee that the criteria are incorporated into urban policies.
The launch of a 2.0 collaborative platform will open the door to cooperation with other cities in the preparation of policies for climate change adaptation
